Costa, the UK’s largest and fastest-growing coffee shop chain, is bringing a taste of Italy to the newly relaunched St Pancras International station.
St Pancras International, the new home of Eurostar, re-opened last November after an £800 million architectural restoration and now offers customers one of the most luxurious travel experiences in Britain. Costa is the perfect pit stop for the daily commuter to pick up a hand-made cup of authentic, Italian coffee. It is also the ideal meeting place to catch up with a friend or business colleague in a welcoming environment complete with fresh, contemporary décor and comfortable leather sofas.
Located right beside the Euro Star ticket office, Costa will offer commuters a selection of premium coffee with a choice of sweet and savoury snacks. Its highly skilled baristas are coached in the art of coffee making at the company’s unique Costa Coffee Academy, based at its very own roastery in Lambeth, London. This is where Costa’s coffee beans are slow roasted using a traditional Italian method to give its smooth distinctive, Costa flavour.
Enrica Esposito, store manager for the new St Pancras International Costa store, commented, “We are all very excited about the new opening and are looking forward to welcoming our first customers. To celebrate, we will be giving away 100 free Costa Thermal Travel Mugs to customers so that they can enjoy the taste of our coffee on a daily basis.”
